An Endosleeve procedure is not covered by Private Health Insurance.
While costs are subject to change, our estimated out of pocket fee for the Endosleeve procedure is $16,500.
This cost includes fees and charges of Dr Balalis and 12 months of surgical clinical care with the practice team following the procedure.
The clinical care includes appropriate monitoring and follow up appointments with Dr Balalis, Nurse (where necessary) and (3) Dietitian review appointments.
The quote also provides an estimation only of the fees and charges required for your theatre and accommodation at Burnside Hospital. The amount is based on an estimated (1) night stay, which is subject to variation depending on your recovery and any additional consumables that may be required.
This estimate does not cover any external costs and service provided by other doctors or services involved, including the Anaesthetist. As these are independent providers, they set their own fees.
With any procedure, there are associated risks. In the unlikely event that a patient experiences a complication/emergency that requires further treatment, if you are uninsured, further costs may be applicable.
