This is Ali. Our caring, approachable and always sociable, bariatric nurse.
Ali has recently come to bariatric nursing after spending 13 years as an intensive care nurse. She is extremely passionate about bariatric nursing and supporting people through their surgical journeys, having undergone weight loss surgery herself. She sees her recent shift into the bariatric realm as an opportunity to give back to the field that helped her change her body, mind, and soul; and provide the support and compassion that she knows people in similar shoes need.
Ali’s ideal day off work involves a morning coffee in bed, followed by a beach walk with her partner, daughters, and Staffy—Frankie. She appreciates a beautiful Shiraz and enjoys BBQs with friends. You might also be surprised to learn that Ali is an avid camper—hoping to one day travel the country with a caravan in tow.
